The Bureau of Special Enforcement commanded by Captain D. Todd is staffed by 33 commissioned and 8 civilian personnel. The Bureau consists of the following Divisions and Units; Court Services, Community Education, Firearms, Emergency Management, Homeland Security and the Fugitive Unit. Within the Bureau of Special Enforcement is Special Operations which consists of the Bomb Squad, Metro Air Support, a partnership of St Louis City, St. Louis County and the St. Charles County Sheriff's Department. The St. Charles County Regional SWAT team is a cooperative agreement between the Sheriff's Department and the Police Departments of St Peters, O'Fallon, Lake St Louis and Wentzville. |
